About the Show:

This production is our Summer Teen Camp production of Footloose: Youth Edition. These students work for less than 2 weeks in an intense camp environment with a professional directing team to learn the show, while gaining valuable theatrical knowledge and experience to help further their love for musical theatre! We can't wait to share the show with you!

Randy Redd
Director

RANDY REDD appeared in the original Broadway productions of PARADE, RING OF FIRE, and MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. Favorite credits include SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BY JEEVES, Terrence McNally’s SOME MEN, THE BURNT PART BOYS, Randy Newman’s FAUST, PUMP BOYS & DINETTES, Alain Boublil’s MANHATTAN PARISIENNE, Max Vernon’s THE VIEW UPSTAIRS, and the premiere of Florida Georgia Line's MAY WE ALL. Film and TV credits include BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, THE LAST 5 YEARS, AFTER THE STORM, KINSEY, FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE, and two appearances on The Tony Awards. Writing and directing credits include: 9 TO 5, GOODMAN, RING OF FIRE, SWEET POTATO QUEENS, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, MISSISSIPPI SUGAR, AMERICAN TUNE, SONS OF LEVI, WHAT’S THAT SMELL, ELKIN DAB, TOUCHÉ, Dan Mills’ FICTION IN PHOTOGRAPHS, LET YOU BE YOU, a children’s television special, and a new musical with Tony Award-winner Levi Kreis. @randyredd

Taylor Newby
Choreographer

TAYLOR NEWBY is an Oklahoma City, OK native and has travelled the world as a Featured Singer for RCCL. She is a graduate of New York University’s CAP21 Conservatory. Credits include: Assistant Director for the Off-Broadway premiere of Dan Mills’ FICTION IN PHOTOGRAPHS (New World Stages), Assistant Choreographer and Co-Creator for EXTRAORDINARY JOE at Abrons Art Center in NYC, Choreographer for FOOTLOOSE (GHS), NINE TO FIVE (New Stage Theatre), LES MISERABLES, Assistant to the Director for MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET and Choreographer for the premiere of SWEET POTATO QUEENS by Rupert Holmes and Melissa Manchester (New Stage Theatre). Let us reimagine, play, and create together as artists.

Eric Johnson
Music Director

ERIC JOHNSON is the Head Choir Director, Total Sound Director, and AP Music Theory teacher at Warren Central. He graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Music Education in 2012 and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting in 2014. He has been at Warren Central for nine years. His past acting credits include Lumiere in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Davey in the MS Premiere of NEWSIES, Chip Tolentino in THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, Scuttle in THE LITTLE MERMAID, Emmett Smith in LEGALLY BLONDE, and Issachar in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Some of Eric's favorite shows he has directed are DISNEY'S DESCENDANTS: THE MUSICALl, DISNEY'S NEWSIES, and SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS. In his spare time, Eric enjoys cooking, reading, and playing board games with friends.
